Weaving?

During yesterdays weaving lesson in art I talked about how now the children understood the basic principle they could make anything.  I also talked about when I was at Primary School (when the dinosaurs reigned, obvs) we made baskets which I still have at my mum’s house.  

Today, some of the lads spent their lunchtime ‘weaving’ a bird’s nest at the edge of the playground!  It’s fantastic!!!  I was so impressed with them :)
