Conversing with a Simulacrum

I woke up this morning feeling groggy, pulled out of a weird and vivid dream by my alarm but with my imagination soon caught up with thoughts about DeepSeek’s recent preternatural abilities, catching everyone in the AI industry with their pants down. That led to the most remarkable AI conversation I've ever had. I've had to post the transcript to my website so that I can remember this day, and perhaps help to reinforce the ideas. Every time I read it I'm even more impressed with what was produced. It's clever, thought-provoking and entertaining all at the same time. Despite the slow and strange start, it's been a day when I've found an unexpected level of energy, considering how hard the last week has been. I've got domestic things done, work things done, admin things done, a few creative things too, plus a 10 mile run, all on a beautiful, crisp day of cloudless skies. It made me realise how far I've come in the last five or six years. I think I can say that I'm fully recovered!
