Hill Top Ramblings

Clear skies

We had a remarkable day of cloudless skies today. There was not a breath of wind either. The birds were singing and it was great to be outdoors.
The greenhouse now has a roof and two walls, but then I ran out of glass clips. This is at least the third location for this greenhouse and I suppose every move lost a few! Also, several of the remaining panes are cracked, and some tape and ingenuity may be required to finish things. I’m sure we will succeed though. Bonnie has been enjoying going inside it, as it has a waterproof floor and the existing glass is warming things up.
We took her for a walk at Brigsteer Woods, and while sitting in the hide, we were rewarded with some exciting views of a hunting barn owl, in full sunshine!
Also popped in to Low Sizergh Farm Shop, where they had the Appleby Farmhouse Cheshire cheese. I am interested to try this and see how my little home made effort compares!!
