3728. New Project

This is my latest project…..I saw an image on Instagram of a tree made up of costume jewellery, so I decided to try and make this.
I’ve bought a 3D frame and I’m going to go to a Community Hub in town once a week to start making it.  I’m going to map out the design on the backing of the frame then start with the “trunk” of the tree using my collection of older costume jewellery plus some of my late Mom’s old costume jewellery.  I’ve got loads of bits and pieces and this will make a lovely and interesting piece to display bits of jewellery that have just been sitting in a box!

I’m probably going to repaint the frame as I’m not keen on the white wooden finish but I’m going to wait and see how it turns out first!
