Finished!

We started this before Xmas - here's its status on NYE. Undoubtedly the hardest jigsaw we've ever done, harder than Jackie Morris's otters and Machu Picchu with the tiny pieces. The sea is exactly the same colour as parts of the sky, and there are such subtle variations that we ended up having to unpick several areas before we could get it right. (The camera had great difficulty with the colour - I've tried to adjust it, but it's still not right). However, a beautiful image of Castle Tioram by Steven Marshall.

Ah, once we've finished admiring it we can get our coffee table back!
