Morning fog

A foggy morning.  I love fog.  It transforms space into 'rooms'.  As you pass through foggy space the mist envelopes, limiting features outside that particular room and highlighting immediate features.  

I added flashing cycle lights this morning as the mist was pretty dense in parts.  It was thick over the river. 

I went to the cinema and had intended to see A Complete Unknown the Bob Dylan biopic. But I got muddled up with the start times and saw A Real Pain believing it started at 10.30 when it was 15 minutes later.  But I wasn't disappointed.  I thoroughly enjoyed the film and resuming the cinema experience.

I noticed an interesting feature of the twenty minutes of advertising which preceded the film.  Car and insurance advertisements prevailed.  No advertisements on gin, alcohol, soft drinks or local restaurants.  Is this a sign of our times?

Took the hound for nearly an hour's walk.  The fog had completely lifted and skies were blue with puffy clouds - see extra.

Chilly night ahead, I believe.
