Staple Inn

It's been a catch-up sort of day.  I had my first session with my personal trainer for two weeks since I had a minor operation on my knee.  The flat needed cleaning (London is unbelievably dusty!).  I did some food shopping and stopped on the way back for half an hour in the sunshine in the garden in the middle of Grey's Inn - so peaceful away from the traffic.  And walked back down Grey's Inn Road which is partially closed to traffic due to road works.  I was able to stand in the middle of the road and take a picture of Staple Inn (1585) on Holborn.  As Staple Inn is typical Tudor B&W, I have converted the whole picture to B&W.

This evening we are going to a London Symphony Orchestra concert at the Barbican Hall with their recently appointed conductor Sir Antonio Pappano, who is brilliant.
