Manchester Docks

This collage comprises a number of plaques located in the walkway along the Salford Quays waterfront to commemorate the time when Salford Quays was Manchester Docks - one of the busiest ports in the country.

The words have been contributed by former dock workers and merchant seamen and give a flavour of a recent time which has now gone forever.
