Purple Crocus

A haircut for my husband this morning followed by lunch in town.
 
I did some cross-stitch, all of which I had to unpick because I used the wrong colour shade of grey on my elephant. It was only after three rows that I could see the difference in shade.
 
Today’s picture is the first of the many crocus flowers in the garden that have bloomed this year.
 
The temperature today at noon was seven degrees Celsius. Frost and fog this morning, but by lunch time the sun came out for a short while.
