Tis the Season

I understand, on a conceptual level, why Hobby Lobby would have whole sections of its store dedicated to Christmas decorations at this time of year. But the cognitive dissonance between the punishing heat outside and the overwhelming displays of candy canes and metal trees was, to put it mildly, distressing. Consumerism gone wild.

I did find a really nice-smelling candle though.
