Bike trip to Gent along the canal

Made a 104 km biketrip to Gent. I started a long the canal till the railway station of Gent. Took 1 coffee in Gent , then hallal bread with chicken(verry tatsty) and then home again along the usual road. Long long time ago i have been driving this road frequently as i lived half way between Gent and Bruges in a town called Eeklo. I visited some places in Eeklo who are totally changed. Then on the way i met a scout leader whom i haven t seen in more then 40 years. He invited me in his home  and 3 hours further on i left and it wass allready dark. Arrived around 8U30 pm in Bruges visited restaurant for a delicious pizza and on my way home meeting friends who invited me to join them in the wine bar. I consumed 1 alchol free beer, and 10 pm homewards. It was marvellous day as so much happened.
