Biting wind.

A neighbour gave me contact details for a roofer she’d used previously.

A walk before lunch. Just round the field. Icy puddles, biting wind still.

We drove home. Lots of trees down, much tree debris at verges.

At home a boundary fence between us and our longstanding neighbours had come down. He’d made some inquiries on our joint behalf. They lost most of their greenhouse. Our garden furniture etc blown over. Otherwise we were unscathed.
