A rather blip-less week, I got engrossed in a spring cleaning project and forgot just about everything else :0) ...I have backblipped Thu & Fri but didn't even take pics the other days. Now there are piles of stuff that have to go 'elsewhere' but I have the cleanest closet ever! It was long overdue.

No.3 son suprised me immensley when he and his little friend went to play and wound up cleaning his "whole half of the room" as he put it :0) I really thought, when they came and told me they had cleaned, that I would find the usual pile of stuff pushed to the side, or into the closet, but they had actually put things in boxes and stacked up the boxes carefully - it was really clean! I told them they should go into the cleaning business and offered them large sums of money to tackle his sisters half, but alas, they were as afraid of that mess as I am LOL

..almost forgot to say what this is...Mr Tex bought this large hunk of metal at an auction (sometimes I wonder if he spends too much time in the sun). This is, according to a little sticker inside, a Gondola ornament from Venice, Italy, bought back in 1955 - it weighs a ton...imagine the excess baggage you'd pay if you tried to carry that back from Italy these days :0)
