Memories
I spent yesterday saving whatsapp voice notes from my darling Aimee. I found this message from a couple of years ago - we both loved Honeysuckle and would always stop and smell - James recalled this in his funeral tribute - Aimee was the sort of girl who would stop and smell the honeysuckle - even if it meant they missed a train. Love her and miss her so much.
I talked about Aimee lots today - met up with M for a trip to IKEA (messaged my brother to say I was having a better day and he said a trip to IKEA was the stuff of his nightmares!!). However I have known M since Aimee was born and we are so comfortable in each others company. She chatted about her troubles with health and elderly Mother and listened to my sadness and was understanding.
Successful trip - and only spending £20 - usually come away from IKEA with lots of other stuff I don't want or need.
OH was cooking dinner - sausages and mash which despite my worries was delicious! We started a new series with Martin Clunes which is ok ish? I decided to unpick my tapestry which I am struggling with - basically I joined two pieces which looked awful so am cutting and re-joining and probably mean I have lost two weeks work. Oh well.
Day done.
