Gertrude the Golden Orb-weaving Spider

I photographed this spider in our village garden today. The late afternoon sun was bringing out the bluish colour of its head. This one is different from our resident, balcony-dwelling, Golden Orb-weaver I blipped in December. She was named Doris by blipper AndrewNZ (thanks Andrew) and she's still in residence. Today's spider I'm naming Gertrude.
