Reservoir boats hibernating over winter

Unfortunately, Gruff was worse this morning so I took him to the vet who kept him in for investigation and treatment. The working diagnosis is cholangitis (infected gall bladder and biliary tree). He is on antibiotics, fluids, antiemetics and pain killers. We heard this evening that he is responding to treatment and less lethargic. So let's hope he continues to improve and that he is well enough to come home tomorrow.
We looked after young Tomos today and because we didn’t have Gruff we were able to walk around Llanishen reservoir. (dogs prohibited) The sunshine had brought a flurry of walkers but there was no boating as they were hibernating.
