Desperate

The snow started a couple of hours ago and it's been coming down nonstop since then.  Fortunately the temperature is warm enough that it's not sticking to the ground and I'm hoping it will all be gone by tomorrow morning when I have to go to dialysis.  Looking out my window to get an interesting shot for my blip, I spotted this man standing in the snow smoking a cigarette.  Smoking isn't allowed in our building or within 25 feet of an entrance and the sight of people smoking outdoors is a common one, but what an addiction it must be if a person has to have a smoke in such weather conditions!

Natalie woke up with a bad cough so she isn't coming today to help me.  I'm hoping to get in some cooking before I run out of steam.  Hope you are all keeping warm and dry.

When are the Republicans going to rein in this megalomaniac?  Don't they give a damn about our country?
