Day of news
My radio has been full of news after yesterdays school shooting in Örebro, mid Sweden, west from Stockholm. The gunman was a young, lonely guy who kept to him self.
I know people who work at the university there but found out via facebook that I also know one person who work at the school, one of my former students. He's safe. We need to know our loved ones are safe, not only in a crisis like this, but also in daily life, a message on facebook with a simple Hi, how are you right now? A heart sent, maybe with a personal comment. We all need to hear that our friends are safe and we all want someone to ask us how we are ourselves. It can make a crack in a depression, maybe even save a life.
Todays walk was through The Grove, looking for some early flowery life but the lack of sun has made them hide away still. The brook lived a still life today, there has hardly been any snow so the water is low. It's all dry in the summer.
Another Wednesday ticked off. Hope you are doing ok.
