Dutch biscuits

My Dutch friend Annemarie came round for coffee earlier. As I don't see many friends these days in person, I really enjoyed our chat. As usual her English is faultless and we've always said that Brits and the Dutch share a lot of things in common, including sense of humour.

She brought with her these biscuits that are designed to sit on the edge of a mug. I'd say they taste very similar to Belgian Speculoos biscuits. Went very well with our coffee. We also had some of Mme MB's home made shortbread.

Back to work tomorrow and I hope to go for a walk in the afternoon, if I get everything done.
