The Alps…

…In chocolate form.
I’m planning on eating just four alps :-)

It’s been a long day. (And I need fortifying for an evening Zoom meeting).

On a lighter note, a special person has a special birthday today. Happy Eighteenth Birthday Special Person! We have enjoyed a happy little romp through old photos… (How young we all looked, and not just the baby!).

And.
A man came and put up a light fitting.
Yay!

We have lived here for nearly eight years, with a naked light bulb in the hall!
First we couldn’t agree on a light fitting, and then we bought one but it was too heavy to install on our own (we’re lightweights) so we put it away (because we kept tripping over it) and then we forgot about it.
And then we remembered about it but all the Light-Fitting-People were booked up for the next hundred years (except for one, who was only busy for the next six months!).

So, this is a Big Day :-)
