Today's the day ...................... to busk

Spring was definitely in the air today - lots of sunshine and (dare I say it) quite mild out.

You always know that you're in Scotland when buskers are wearing the kilt and playing the bagpipes.  This one could play a bit too - and added to the feeling that winter was nearly on the way out.  The mass of crocuses in the Soaperie Gardens were already pushing out of the soil and it won't be long before they are a riot of colour. 

And, don't worry - I contributed to his collection hat - before I took this picture .............................!
