Early risers

The Sweet Pea seeds  have germinated in just under a week which surprised me a little. This is one of two sowings and the others are not yet visible. On a quick visit to the garden centre today I noticed there were plenty of bedding plant seedlings on display, but with cold weather on the way I was not tempted to buy any just yet. The Sweet Peas are quite hardy so I expect to be able to grow them on in the unheated conservatory in due course.
