Holme Island, Morecambe Bay

We had a nice evening with No 2 son yesterday at our local pub/restaurant and the food was, as usual, good.

Today was lovely and sunny and we walked into Grange - stopping at Higginson's for Pork Pies for lunch and then on the Prom for coffee - where it was nice enough to sit outside!  It was a good leg stretch - I haven't done much walking over the last month and with being away - and I feel aglow now.

No 2 son departed on the train to Manchester Airport this afternoon ready for his short flight to London.  

Sad to see him go, but we have a date in March to get together again.
