Snowdrops
A wander through Queen Street gardens in a gap between the morning rain showers, fairly heavy at times. Central gardens has a lot of bulbs; this bank is in the SW corner.
Afternoon walk through Stockbridge to Inverleith pond; lots of tufted ducks, more than a dozen, diving entertainingly. A swan pair, a goose pair, mallards and gulls as usual. Also another floating tennis ball, which we spotted for the person who had lost it; this time the dog wasn't so interested in getting wet as the one we watched last time we were here.
Back by George V park; there's draining work going on beside the cycle path at the bottom of the bigger playground area. Will be interesting to see if that helps the 'turn into a pond' which has been happening to that path.
