SUNNY YELLOW

These TINY yellow flowers, on this
succulent-like plant, created their own sunshine. I spotted it from down
the street.

We took the long way home, this morning,
because the tail-end of an atmospheric river
is arriving tonight. So, tomorrow may be
too miserable to walk. I am hoping
for GLUGGAVADUR, a lovely Icelandic
word that means “window weather.”
That is, weather best enjoyed looking out the window, with something warm to drink.
Cake, I believe, is encouraged.

Hope is in the air for a steady light rain,
that will put an end to wildfire season,
but will do no harm.
