Low Tide at Paremata

Today we went out with the Churton Park walkers and enjoyed the low tide on a walking track we have done before. Its a lovely walk but a bit more water is even better
Tomorrow is New Zealand's national day. Every year on 6 February – Waitangi Day – people of all communities and backgrounds gather at Waitangi to commemorate the first signing of New Zealand's founding document: Te Tiriti o Waitangi, The Treaty of Waitangi, on 6 February 1840.
Our apartment overlooks Waitangi Park which is currently setting up and tomorrow we will be entertained for sure on this National Holiday.
