The lovely Lyon.
One of those local gems that is paddled less than it should be. Upstream has been the victim of its steep unstable geology. The best bits are chocked up with fallen rock/tree that make the already hard and almost un escapable gorge even more committing. Beyond my and most people's acceptable risk line. Plus it needs proper water and comes up and down super fast.
But it's beautiful. 
This last bit is ideal as an intro to or confidence boost to running drops though. 
Repeatable, easy run in, a few options all with fairly safe landings. 

So nice to catch it at a good level for a quick few laps round the drop.
