Early start to go for.a bloodtest at the GP. It was whilst sitting in the waiting room I realised an error of timing and that the appointment would need to be rearranged. Botheration but easily rectified.

Home, breakfast, coffee, collected father in law to take him for a CT scan at the hospital. That thankfully.went like clockwork so after dropping him back at his house I returned to mine for beans on toast and promptly fell asleep on the settee.

Must have needed it and acknowledging that, I found a snuggly blanket and remained there for a few more hours enjoying a documentary on Marianne Faithfull before reanimating into an upright position and functioning for a few more hours.

Later on parents house was strolled to in the cool evening air. The stars are all out and Orion kept me company along the way. After nattering with Mum in their kitchen I had a quick video natterette with bestie to discover our afternoons had some commonalities which is no surprise :-)
