Cosmo astrosanguineus

My aunt who lives in Hastings in the south of England has these flowers in her garden and when we've been to visit her at the end of October, they are still in bloom. I bought this plant (New choco) yesterday and hope it will have the same success in Colinton. And, yes, the flowers do smell like chocolate ;o)

Mum was a great help in the garden this afternoon. We put up (another) fence around the chicken run and while I was pottering about, she picked more than a kilo of black currants. Wonderful Mum!
