St James’s

Our sister church in Innerleithen. We went there (Inners not the church) this afternoon with our friends Kate and Graham for coffee and cake at Findra. The four of us (the roving retirees) were supposed to go for a big walk today but the weather was just too awful. Just as well we cancelled actually as we’d forgotten that son no 2 was coming home (until tomorrow) for a dental appointment. I also had dental treatment this morning as I was offered a cancellation to fix a front tooth. We’re watching Civil War on Prime tonight. Terrifyingly it doesn’t feel quite so dystopian now that Trump is President!
