Oh poo!

Thought I'd got my morning well planned out. Loaded the car up with 10 bags of dry green waste. Left home at 7.45 got to Lidl's as they opened at 8am. They have shopping baskets.. Yay! Did a shop, cashier very helpful. Drive the long way around to the Recycle centre, second in the queue, perfect timing for opening at 9am.9.10 still waiting. Another huge skip lorry arrives, so now we have to wait another 20 mins according to the member of staff but we can unload green waste. Great! Unload, queue at standstill for other waste so I nipped in the recycle shop area to kill time. I dropped the 5 sets of curtains off that I had in the car surplus to requirements at Mum's. Rang Mum to say I would be a little late. Drove through town to Asda, picked up cider. Next stop Mum's.
We had pain au raisin & coffee, after I packed Mum's shopping away. Then I walked Indie. Forecast was rain so we did'nt hang about, did go down to the river to wash off.
Did a few chores for Mum. We're having a conversation, but I have no idea what she is talking about. Love her! The rain arrived. Made Mum lunch then headed home. We had Lidl's butter croissants filled with German ham & wholegrain mustard. Tasty!
I sat & stitched this afternoon. My little project nearly complete.
