Celtic Connections!!!!

Today we had a night out!!!

I had tickets for the Ceolas Concert atCeltic Connections.

We had dinner booked at 5:30 at Table 28 next to the City Halls.

I was not out before then but we sneaked a quick coffee in at Black Pine on our way to the subway.

I had not clocked that the restaurant is in the Merchant Square buiding.
It was noisy and the screens from the Irish pub were annoying.
Otherwise food and staff were great!

The gig started at 8 pm and it was fun.
Loads of people from the old times when I was in the traditional music scene plus some icons from South Uist like Rhona Lightfoot.

It was great to see Allan, and Hamish Moore too and so many others.

I very much enjoed the gig that also went on island time .... going way over.

I caught up with loads of people and Neil and I actually walked to the Hotel - but the bar was so packed we headed home.

Blipping Natalie McMasters hubby playing the fiddle with his sun who had a broken collarbone - it was fab!!!
