Hellebore

Today has been the driechest of dreich days.  The rain has been incessant.  Nevertheless, we managed a walk up the village to visit old friends who have moved in.  Back home, I returned to the photobook of our summer holiday and that had the effect of forgetting what it like outside.  But I had to go out for the blip and the hellebore was doing its best to bring cheer,  Looking for a positive, the sodden earth made a good dark background.
