View From The River-Bank

This morning was pretty laid-back really - just catching up on Blip comment, getting mail ready to send, etc. Minstrel had a sleep on me...

Later though, we had a walk out to get Blips with a walk along the river bank. It was wonderfully bright then, but it is cloudy now and we have had rain too. I took a few shots on my camera. and I liked this view across the river up towards the hospital, showing the houses running up the hillside. The chimney used to power a coal generator for Lincoln County Hospital. I could find no information about it online.

I've always used Google as I found it always gave the best, most relevant results. Now though, not so much! The first things I saw were commercial results for chimney sweeps in the area of the hospital, followed by information about the services available at the hospital. After that the results go off at various tangents. Image search offers nothing at all!

We saw the Red Arrows practicing, the moon in the sky during the day, cormorants and another heron too.

When we came home from our good long walk we had some lunch before getting on with some household jobs. I went to the Post Office too, leaving just the bins to do later!

This is a very boring Blip...
