RRS Discovery.

This particular photograph appeared on my iPhone today as photo of the day.

The quality is very poor, although the composition is good.

RSS Discovery was built in Dundee and made several voyages of Discovery including to Antarctica. Wikipedia has a very detailed history.

It did spend some of its retirement in the dockyard at Greenwich before returning to Dundee for complete restoration. It now is to be found between the V&A Dundee and Discovery Point.

 About 15 minutes by bus from our home.
