Captain's Logbook

Firestorm

A quiet day was unfolding after the teenager shenanigans last night. Mr H had a whole bunch of his Mates over for a BBQ. They were all well behaved and having a nice time (maybe a bit tiddly and loud at times), but there were a lot more than he bargained for. So we stayed home and became fugitives watching TV in our bedroom until the party died down.

The mess this morning was pretty spectacular - but it was all outside so no worries.

During tidying up my Mate Mr M came round who hasn't been on blip since my first ever blip way back whenever. It was a nice day and he had decided to go for a run out on his bike and lo he appeared out of the blue.

We chatted about old times and looked around the house at the various bits and bobs that are "on the list" (still). The day seemed to flash past.

He and his wife both love this bike, in fact they named their second child after it. They both have licences and go out for a burn every now and then. It seemed too good an opportunity to miss.

We found a spot and I took a few shots. but cars kept coming along. This is an HDR, then a mono conversion with series of curves adjustments each individually masked using this technique. A lot of fun. I must blip this again with some movement!

Do try it L for large.
