Light in the Sky

One of the few regular walks I do every week is the walk to Monday night football and so it is when I can see the days slowly lengthening. A little bit of light still in the sky this evening as I crossed the footbridge over Sir Harry Lauder Road. We were eight-a-side and I scored our first to equalise but then the others pulled three ahead. It looked like we might be in for another drubbing but slowly we clawed our way back into the game and eventually levelled it. I didn't score again but did my bit with a couple of assists. From then the lead changed hands several times, with never more than a goal in it as neither side was able to pull away. When the next people on the pitch called time, the scores were level - probably a fair result.
