Football Foto
I spent the morning doing a mix of essay, video presentation, washing clothes and cooking lunch for a homeless friend. I think I'm nearly there on the essay and presentation front. Final push now!!
We had team meeting in San An and then Danny and Nate headed straight to football training whilst I did bit more work. D and I swapped towards the end as he had his emergency dental appointment come through. They've 3/4s sorted the problem - it'll be finished next week. This pic was an EB as Nate and I were leaving the pitch at 6,30ish. I love hills in the background.
It's been a day with other things and challenges happening in the background, making me feel a bit (lot!) yuck... Urgh.
*Side note, the hill with the houses and crane is the viewpoint I took this blip from the other day...
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny being such a huge help with final edits.
2) A good call with a friend who is setting up end-of-life care here and wanted to know if I'd be involved. She's who introduced me to Stuart back in June. EOL care doesn't really exist here, it falls to the families, but if you don't have that kind of network around you, you really are alone. And the medical staff are too busy to be present in that emotional way too.
3) Feeling less overwhelmed by the video presentation... I've got a plan.
