On holiday today. Dropped my car off in Straiton for a service to find that they had messed up the booking. They're still managing to fit in the work - just they couldn't do the courtesy car. And they were pretty unapologetic in a sort of "computer says no" sort of way. (I'm all in favour of a car-less society. For the well being of future generations of course - but also because you wouldn't have to deal with these twonks anymore when buying or fixing the damn things...)

Meant a bus into town and a train home. I can't remember the last time that I was in town on a sunny day with no to-dos - so I grabbed a coffee and wandered for a few miles enjoying Edinburgh with the tourists.
