Ancient well …..

St Withburga is said to have built the first church in 654 …although nothing of it remains today . But St Withburga’s well still remains in the church graveyard where it is said she was buried. It is said when her body was stolen and taken to Ely Cathedral the spring of pure water sprung up !!
