A Musical Sportscar Journey

I read Marianne Faithfull's obituary in the paper. Her looks faded. She was not sorry. "They attracted the wrong element," she said. 

When I parked at M&S this yellow Porsche sportscar was opposite my yellow sportscar.

On the way home, listening to the Top Forty, Tate McRae's song Sportscar was played. I couldn't catch the lyrics but have Googled since. We can uh uh in it. Let's go ride.

I tune into Top Of The Pops on BBC Four on Friday evenings. Grace Jones sang raunchily Pull Up To The Bumper to a video of vehicle light trails.

Afterwards I watched a recording of Marianne Faithfull performing in 2009 at LSO St Luke's London. She sang The Ballad Of Lucy Jordon.
