Blowin' in the Wind

This bog cotton was struggling to stay put as the wind tugged at its seedheads. The same wind that sailed on to St Andrews and stopped the Ladies Golf for a while.

Some of the cottony seeds that were ripped out then became caught on the seedheads of bulrushes making them look like a strange hybrid.
