Lunch time!

We woke to brilliant blue skies but Mr MC's hockey match (he now umpires only) was called off as the pitches were frozen.  Having achieved a great deal in the way of tidying and cleaning yesterday, I did little today but managed to get out into the garden and photograph what is beginning to grow.  I took a lot of photos but this little Blue Tit won out.  He was taken through glass and unfortunately his head was in the shade but his yellow feathered tummy makes up for that.
This evening Daughter #1 and her partner came round and we enjoyed a roast beef dinner.  The beef came from a new local butcher and was yummy!
