Melancholy

A quiet day with a few things to catch up with. I'm slowly tidying out my youngest's bedroom as now that Baby V stays in here I need some storage. Today I was packing away many of her books, diaries, jotters from the 6 years she was in hospital. Not sure if she will ever want to come back to them but sense they may be part of a longer term recovery process. Left me quite melancholy.
Later we popped into Stirling to drop some things to charity largely DVDs and books. Whilst there I bought a knitting pattern that was definitely from the 70s or early 80s. My mum is knitting things for Baby V so I will send it with some wool. Knitting is on my retirement plan, wonder if I'll be too old to learn by then.....
