Love Where You Live

I actually spotted what would become today's image on our morning run. It's another in my occasional bus stop series and I could see where light filtering through the cracked glass (it had been vandalised yet again) was catching the frost that had formed across it and making it sparkle so I was determined to head back and capture it later.
So as soon as I got back in from my run I headed straight back out with my camera - I did get a bit of strange look as a couple arrived at the bus stop just as I was taking my final shot but that's just part of the life of a blipper surely! It didn't quite come out exactly as I'd hoped but I do like the little bursts of light and how one of them is perfectly placed (purely down to luck) at the end of the figure's litter grabber - the poster is actually an exhortation for part of a Keep Britain Tidy campaign, which is sadly ironic as this bus stop usually has more than its fair share of resident litter and as I mentioned previously is vandalised on a depressingly regular basis. It seems too may people are not prepared to give some love to where they live.
