Engrossed

When I arrived at family dinner today, both Sam and Max were engrossed in sticker books, demonstrating that getting only one between them for Hanukkah was indeed a bad move.  Levi was taking all of the toys out of the basket and then putting them back in, until he started handing them all to Grandma for her to hold.  He seemed more open and talkative today.  

Although his actual birthday is next Saturday, we celebrated today and sang "Happy Birthday" over cupcakes.  There were some gifts as well, in which the twins took a particular interest.

It started snowing while we were finishing dinner and the snow stuck to the ground, since the temperature was just above freezing.  That made for a scary drive home, but I made it in good time.
