Sunflower After the Rain
A nice steady rain all day. I finally made the first fire of the season, and we are snug as a bug in a rug. There is a lull in the storm. We are making a tasty stew of plantains, black beans and chorizo, and I ducked out to the garden for a minute to get cilantro for a garnish. Boy, does that smell good! So here we are on a Sunday evening. For various reasons we aren’t having family dinner, just us and the stew.
