Awwwww

In addition to spending time with my nephew, his wife and their three adorable boys, I’ve also loved having dog-time with Lacy (here) and her new sibling Ginger. Lacy is about 11 but she still loves going for walks and having some play time. And of course, napping is a big part of the day. Her fur is like silk so it’s impossible to resist pets and ear rubs. Nice to have lots of pup time.

We’ve had a fun day even though nephew had to work for most of it. We took the dogs for a walk with the youngest (2) and eldest (nearly 10) and it was bliss being able to be outside with short sleeves. Back at home, I donned a baseball helmet at the insistence of the grands and played pitcher and catcher. Then pushed the youngest in a swing which I was much better at than the baseball. And then middle child fell off his skateboard and did a face plant which resulted in blood curdling screams but no real harm. I don’t know that I would have survived being a parent!
