Calais to Largs

An early start - up before 6am, Continental breakfast in our room at 6.15, and in the van and off to the Channel Tunnel by 6.50am. It was a long journey, arriving in Largs at around 8.30pm. We had a few comfort stops, of course, and a couple of ‘interesting’ diversions thanks to the Waze app. We were very happy to arrive, park the van, dump our bags and walk down the hill for dinner at the Koh i Noor.

The main photo is arriving at the tunnel terminal just after 7am. The extra is arriving back at Bb’s mum’s flat after dinner and walking up the hill in the wind and rain!
