Bark

Cairn Conservation this morning. Lovely to see everyone again, albeit in sad circumstances, as we lost our oldest and last remaining original member of the group recently: Pat (93, but you'd never have known it).

We were replacing step boards here on North Kerne, as well as further back down the path. Very satisfying work, and I particularly enjoyed chatting to another of the volunteers. You can see her beautiful dog in this photo :). Unlike the other dog in our group, he does not bark at all!

Came home and had a cup of tea with Tim, then a shower and some lunch - and a nice easy afternoon of Nazi shooting, bird feeder filling, and not a lot else. Tim cooked us another delicious beany chilli in the evening and we watched the darts final.
